Project Overview

The DAV Student & Management Portal is a comprehensive enterprise web application designed and built to digitize and streamline the administrative operations of DAV educational institutions. Prior to this system, the institution relied on manual paper-based records, spreadsheets, and fragmented communication channels. This project consolidated all administrative functions — student registration, attendance tracking, academic records, staff management, and reporting — into a single, secure, role-based web platform.

Problem Statement

The institution faced critical operational challenges: student records were maintained across multiple disconnected spreadsheets, attendance was tracked manually on paper registers causing frequent data loss, administrative reports required hours of manual compilation, and there was no centralized user authentication system resulting in unauthorized data access risks. The absence of a unified system led to significant time loss, data inconsistencies, and poor institutional efficiency.
